Recognized as the groundbreaking “Hybrid,” this innovation marked the flagship model for the newly established company Go Fast Bits. The unique feature of this pioneering valve involved two venting ports strategically placed on the body. The recirculation port opened before the atmospheric port, preventing backfiring and stalling on vehicles equipped with a MAF sensor. Despite this, the Hybrid still delivered the distinctive blow-off sound when the car was driven more aggressively.

The success of this groundbreaking technology led to its widespread adoption by nearly every other brand in the BOV market. The Hybrid evolved into GFB’s next milestone, the venting bias adjustable BOV, now known as the Respons TMS, and later transformed into the electronically adjustable version, the Deceptor Pro.

While the Hybrid took a hiatus from the market, the spotlight remained on these current products. However, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of one of the most influential BOVs in the turbo world, GFB is reintroducing the Hybrid! To add to the festivities, the significance of the dual-port venting system and the new Hybrid valve received acclaim from a panel of international judges, earning a Global Media Award at the 2017 SEMA show from a pool of 3000 entries.

The new Hybrid retains the same staged venting outlets as the original but now comes with the flexibility to configure for full recirculation, full atmosphere, or 50/50 venting. With an extensive range of direct bolt-on kits for popular vehicles, the new Hybrid provides all the advantages of dual-port venting at an affordable price.
