GFB’s compact and popular FX-S Fuel Pressure Regulator is now offered as a direct replacement for common Bosch regulators that attach to the fuel rail.

When enhancing your engine’s performance, ensuring your fuel system can handle it is crucial. Upgrading the fuel pump is the initial step, but often leads to excessive fuel pressure, especially at idle, due to insufficient flow from the factory Bosch regulators. This issue is particularly pronounced in turbo E85 setups requiring high fuel flow rates.

Instead of replacing the entire fuel rail or using an adapter with a separate fuel pressure regulator, simply installing the FX-S 8051 allows for a larger pump setup even with the factory rail. Additionally, adjusting the fuel pressure is hassle-free. Unlike fixed-pressure Bosch regulators, the FX-S can be adjusted from 1.4bar to 5bar.

Like all GFB FX regulators, the FX-S 8051 is compatible with pump gas, ethanol, or methanol. It features a soft Teflon valve seat, ensuring a positive seal and maintaining fuel pressure during shutdown for reliable engine startups.

The double-layer diaphragm, reinforced with twice the material of standard regulators, boasts a burst strength exceeding 500psi!

The 1/8” NPT port accommodates a fuel pressure gauge or electronic pressure sensor, or can be plugged using the provided port plug.
