Garrett Motion proudly introduces the GTX3582R GEN II Turbocharger, the next evolution in the GTX line, featuring significant updates and cutting-edge technology. The GEN II boasts a compressor wheel aero update, providing the capability to produce up to 20% more horsepower than its predecessor.

Redeveloped Compressor Wheels: The GTX GEN II compressor wheels were meticulously designed using Garrett Motion’s proprietary computer simulation technology, focusing on CFD analysis to optimize the wheel design for maximum efficiency and mass flow. Each GEN II turbocharger generates more air mass flow, offering a broader range of power output for tuned vehicles. The 8mm dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge enhances turbo response and reliability by reducing shaft motion.

Fully-Machined Inlet, Outlet, and Shroud: The GEN II GTX Series Turbochargers feature fully-machined compressor inlets, outlets, and ported shrouds, ensuring precise and accurate tolerances.

Redesigned High-Flowing Compressor Housing: The new compressor housing showcases a high-flowing design perfectly matched for the upgraded compressor wheel. While GEN II compressor housings are not interchangeable with GEN I compressor wheels, all GEN II turbochargers are outline interchangeable with equivalent GT and GTX GEN I products, facilitating easy turbo swaps with existing piping.

Fully-Machined Speed Sensor Port: Equipped with a fully machined speed sensor port, the new compressor housings accept Garrett Motion speed sensors (sold separately). This feature enables tuners to understand operating conditions, crucial for fine-tuning a turbocharger to its most efficient state.

Cross Compatibility Turbo Turbine Housing Kit Platform: All GEN II GTX series turbochargers are compatible with existing GT and GTX turbine housing kits. Please note that GEN II turbochargers are exclusively available through Garrett Motion authorized distribution centers. Important Warning: The maximum allowable turbocharger speed is 130krpm. Using this product above the maximum turbocharger speed is at the owner’s risk and can result in damage and premature failure. To safeguard the turbocharger from overspeed during operation, a speed sensor can be installed into the compressor housing to monitor shaft speed. Speed sensors are sold separately (click here for details).
