Key features of all GFB wastegates include an investment cast body crafted from 253MA chromium-nickel stainless steel, a CNC machined billet stainless valve, and stainless steel weld-on fittings and hardware. The diaphragm is reinforced with nomex for added strength. This combination results in a robust wastegate designed to endure extreme conditions while ensuring reliability.
